Why we recommended this tour: because it’s not too far from the center of Israel, and if you choose you can return home in the evening. Because Weather is nice: worm in fall and spring, and you can wade in the water, bathe and enjoy, because entrance is free, because it’s an exciting natural reserve, because there are restaurants and cafes in the area and because there are lovely hotels, B & B and infrastructure.
General info: Spring Valley is a vast region south of Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee and the Jezreel Valley East. It overlooking Mount Gilboa which reflected by, and connects to the scenic routes in the Lower Galilee and Mount Tabor. The area is very hot in the summer, cozy and recommended in other seasons.
Spring Valley (formerly Beit She’an Valley) offers a wealth of natural water pools and springs where you can bathe. Rural Tourism in the region has different levels, including guest houses, some of them luxurious, in moshavs and kibbutzes. The main attraction is the Spring Valley and “The Garden Park of the three” (Sahne), where you can easily spend endless time, and return again and again.

First day:
Morning: The trip to the Spring Valley takes about an hour and a half from Tel aviv. Recommended stop for coffee: Coffee Bono on Route 4 just after the village Kadima. Attraction on the way: a trip to the summit on Mount Tabor.
Deviation (ten minutes drive) out of the way will take you to Mount Tabor for a visit in the summit. There is a view to the depths of Galilee and the monastery there is open seven days a week {except for a lunch break}. The walk around the summit takes about two hours, track circuits the summit and large parts of it shaded. Suitable for children and elderlies. You can shorten the route and connect to the road and parking lot in different parts of the road.
The main attraction for the first day: a visit to Springs Valley Park. Entrance to the park is free. The park covers hundreds of acres, and is located between mount Gilboa and Bet She’an city, adjacent to “The Garden Park of the three” (Sahne). Possible entry is on foot or by bicycle. You can rent “golf” Electric car suitable for a couple or family up to 8 persons.In the park there are three natural water sources: Ein Bokek, Ein Moda & Kibbutzim-River.All of them are suitable for swim. You may spend a few hours up to a full day in the park. You should bring food with you but yoy do not have to carry water, because drinking fountains scattered throughout the park. There is a light buffet park administration of the National Parks Authority, which also offers the same convenience store leisure accessories, picnic and camping near the main parking lot, at the western entrance. Another portable kiosk offering cold drinks, ice-cream and snacks, is located near Ein Moda pool.
Late Lunch: Yakinton Restaurant The little Thai restaurant offers a bargain and cheap varied menu, and serves large portions and very tasty food. Its location is in the shopping center on Route 71 (Beit She’an, Afula) at the gas station at the intersection of kibutz Beit Hashita, just a few minutes’ drive from Springs Park. There is also a recommended café there – Segafredo – which also offers light meals and a terrace on Thin “sitting” right beside a huge field and offers a stunning Galilean view.
Recommended activity for the afternoon and the evening: Museum of Arts in Ein Harod This art museum is overlooking the Jezreel Valley, and Mount Gilboa. Washed wide halls and courtyards daylight magical sculptures hostel used most important art collections in the country. The spacious building gradually built 14 exhibition halls, courtyards sculptures, a library and workshops. In recent years it has been been renovated. Open 7 days a week.
Another recommended activity: Museum Sturman in Kibbutz Ein Harod The museum offers a variety of programs and exciting activities, such as a tour that includes a view of the Jezreel Valley.In the eastern unit the contents are focusing on scenery nature and the environment, heritage and role models, settlement, history and archeology, as well as various exhibits on science and art that change from time to time. Children will especially enjoy the huge collection of stuffed animals including mammals, reptiles and birds characteristic of the environment.
Recommended restaurant for dinner:restaurant Kimmel Gilboa. The restaurant is located on the main road near the former ski complex, in a building designed and prominently, adjacent to Highway 675 leading to the Spring Valley. This is a chef restaurant that is not ripping the pocket and offers a culinary experience that includes spectacular views over the Galilee.
Recommended Accommodation:Ein Harod Country Lodging The place includes luxury wooden high level suites and family and country hotel with simpler rooms. The rustically suites are spacious and maintained, there is a wealth of activities and attractions in the nearby kibbutz. The new dining room offers breakfast. You may swim in the adjacent kibbutz swimming pool or you may just stroll, while soaking up the culture of the Kibutzniks, or just laze on the lawns.
Second day:
Main activity: Visit to the Sachne – The huge natural swimming pools, in “The Garden Park of the three” which has been chosen by international organizations as one of the 100 world’s most beautiful attractions.
The landscape, the huge size of the pools, the worm water all through the year, the cheap price, the easy parking, proximity – there is no other place for recreation that offers it all!
Recommended restaurant for lunch:Rothenberg Restaurant in the Old yard of Gesher. Another option: Dag dagan – a fish restaurant in Kibbutz Beit Alfa.
